Hey All,
So it begins.. This blog is now up and running, so tell your kids, wife, etc... I'm sure they will find it fascinating. We are the UCCS mens cross country team, and currently we are ranked 13th in the country, ready to take the program to a new level. We are currently training hard to be ready to prove our mettle against the best at the national championships, on November 17th in Joplin, MO.
But the real purpose of this blog is to detail and document a trip to Kenya that some members of the team are planning around new years. We will be doing some mission work at an orphanage where we are staying, while also experiencing the greatest running community in the world. This blog will be our bridge to home during our three week trip, so our family, friends, and anyone else who wants to read can see what trouble we are up to.
